Rest In Peace Jeremiah Denton

Former Alabama Senator and war hero, Admiral Jeremiah Denton – recipient of the Navy Cross for his valor – died at 89 years old. As a prisoner of war for 7 1/2 years in North Vietnam, he declared his loyalty to the U.S. government during a 1966 interview for what was supposed to be a propaganda film, when unbeknownst to his captors he blinked the letters spelling T-O-R-T-U-R-E in morse code.
