Sen. Cruz Urges U.S. Supreme Court to Hear Emergency Appeal on Pennsylvania Election Challenge

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) issued the following statement in support of the U.S. Supreme Court hearing an emergency appeal challenging the election results in Pennsylvania:

Today, an emergency appeal was filed in the U.S. Supreme Court challenging the election results in Pennsylvania. This appeal raises serious legal issues, and I believe the Court should hear the case on an expedited basis. The Pennsylvania Constitution requires in-person voting, except in narrow and defined circumstances. Late last year, the Pennsylvania Legislature passed a law that purported to allow universal mail-in voting, notwithstanding the Pennsylvania Constitution’s express prohibition. This appeal…

CDC Finds Masks Ineffective

A Centers for Disease Control report released in September shows that masks and face coverings are not effective in preventing the spread of COVID-19, even for those people who consistently wear them.

The Federalist

This report suggests that…

…direction, ventilation, and intensity of airflow might affect virus transmission, even if social distancing measures and mask use are implemented according to current guidance.

Opening Statement of Amy Coney Barrett

Appearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee tomorrow, here’s a partial transcript of Judge Amy Coney Barrett’s opening statement:

I also clerked for Justice Scalia, and like many law students, I felt like I knew the justice before I ever met him, because I had read so many of his colorful, accessible opinions. More than the style of his writing, though, it was the content of Justice Scalia’s reasoning that shaped me. His judicial philosophy was straightforward: A judge must apply the law as written, not as the judge wishes it were. Sometimes that approach meant reaching results that he did not like. But as he put it in one of his best known opinions, that is what it means to say we have a government of laws, not of men.

Partisan Debate Commission

They’re trying to protect Biden.

President Trump won the first debate despite a terrible and biased moderator in Chris Wallace, and everybody knows it. For the swamp creatures at the Presidential Debate Commission to now rush to Joe Biden’s defense by unilaterally canceling an in-person debate is pathetic. That’s not what debates are about or how they’re done.

Here are the facts: President Trump will have posted multiple negative tests prior to the debate, so there is no need for this unilateral declaration. The safety of all involved can easily be achieved without canceling a chance for voters to see both candidates go head to head. We’ll pass on this sad excuse to bail out Joe Biden and do a rally instead.

President Trump’s Campaign

Trump Quote On Coronavirus

Following treatment at Walter Reed Military Hospital for the coronavirus, President Trump returned to the White House, remarking:

Don’t let it dominate. Don’t let it take over your lives, don’t let that happen. We have the greatest country in the world.

President Donald J. Trump

Liberal Chris Wallace Teams With Biden

Moderating the first presidential debate, Fox News commentator Chris Wallace repeated the lie about Charlottesville – that President Trump referred to white supremacists as very fine people. That fabricated falsehood has been repeatedly debunked, and Wallace knows that.

The facts are well known. A rally of citizens wishing to preserve local historical monuments was joined by opposing political activists seeking to tear down statues. These are the groups, with diverse opinions, that President Trump identified – not, as liberal media agents promote, members of the KKK.

Nevertheless, Wallace chose to repeat this lie for millions of viewers to hear. He then went on to ask President Trump:

…are you willing tonight to condemn white supremacists and militia groups and to say that they need to stand down and not add to the violence in a number of these cities as we saw in Kenosha and as we’ve seen in Portland.

Chris Wallace

Putting aside for the moment that these are Biden supporters (Antifa & Black Lives Matter), which are responsible for observed riots and violence – why ask this question? After all, as co-moderator of the Republican primary debate on March 3, 2016, in Detroit, Michigan, Chris Wallace asked then candidate Donald Trump:

Governor Romney talked about your position on race and the controversy over your failure to denounce David Duke on Sunday. You have repeatedly disavowed him since then, but I’d like to go deeper on that. What are your views on the Ku Klux Klan and white supremacists?

Chris Wallace

Of course, Wallace never asked Biden to denounce Black Lives Matter or Antifa – because these are his supporters, he can’t.

And, contrary to failed efforts accusing President Trump of racism, it is former Vice President Joe Biden who has a record of racist remarks.

Conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh had an interesting take on why debate moderator Chris Wallace repeated himself:

There is a reason this question is continually asked, particularly right now, and it’s because it’s very possible that the Democrat candidate is bleeding black votes in their internal polling.

Rush Limbaugh

As such, Chris Wallace was happy to regurgitate talking points for the Left.

Joe Biden Quote Praises Segregationist

On October 12, 1975, former Vice President Joe Biden praised the racist then-Alabama governor, George Wallace

I think the Democratic Party could stand a liberal George Wallace — someone who’s not afraid to stand up and offend people, someone who wouldn’t pander but would say what the American people know in their gut is right.

New CDC Data On COVID-19

From Breitbart.com

The U.S. Centers for Disease and Control and Prevention (CDC) recently updated its estimated Infection Fatality Rate (IFR) parameters to include age-specific data showing the vast majority of people who contract the Chinese coronavirus survives.

CDC Data: COVID-19 Pandemic Planning Scenarios

Survival rates by age group –

  • 0-19 years old = 99.997%
  • 20-49 years old = 99.98%
  • 50-69 years old = 99.5%
  • 70 or older = 94.6%

That means that for people 69 years old or younger, the survival rate is between 99.5 percent and 99.997 percent, while for those 70 or older, it is an estimated 94.6 percent.

Dr. Marc Siegel was interviewed on Fox News during the Tucker Carlson Tonight show, airing on September 25, 2020 –

Source: Why COVID-19 ‘fear messaging’ continues despite positive data

Referring to the often cited number of 200,000 US deaths from COVID –

…a new study out of Oxford showed that over 30% of those deaths are not COVID. There are other causes and they also happen to have COVID.

Dr. Marc Siegel

Thus, the actual number is likely to be less than 140,000 US deaths from COVID. And, most of the deaths are still occurring in nursing homes.

Rush Limbaugh Quote

The first presidential debate is scheduled for Tuesday, September 29, 2020, and, following a report confirming that then Vice President Joe Biden was briefed about concerns regarding the role of his son, Hunter Biden, on the board of Ukrainian natural gas firm Burisma Holdings, his assertion that, I have never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings, was a lie.

If Joe isn’t asked about this at the debate, it will be journalistic malpractice. Do you hear that, Chris Wallace? If you don’t bring this up, the fact that Biden’s lying through his teeth when he says he’s never spoken to his son about this, it will be journalistic malpractice.

Sen. Tom Cotton Quote

Under lenient leftist policies, insurrectionists around the country continue to pillage America’s communities. It’s past time we cracked down on their destructive actions. My legislation will incapacitate these rioters to prevent further destruction and increase penalties against them, making the punishment fit their crimes.

Sen. Tom Cotton

Cotton’s legislation is designed to make it more difficult for rioters to get bailed out of jail upon arrest, create avenues for rioting victims to sue rioters, and to cut rioters off from federal unemployment benefits.
